Day 77: Texas Last Diet

Today I started out at the office, but I found a packet of omelet in the cabinet.  For lunch, we had ground turkey with loads of zucchini, mushrooms, bok choi, and some tomatoes.  It was pretty darned good.  When

we got home from work, Bogdan's mother had made Romanian baked cabbage, which is wonderful, with tomatoes, dill and some other kind of greens in it... I suspect it was spinach.  She had also grilled some chicken outside on the grill, so we had a lovely dinner.  I finished off with the peanut butter balls.  All in all, I think it was a good day.  I feel like I've lost a lot this week.  Fingers crossed, as I have weigh-in tomorrow morning.  I wanted to observe too that when I went to the Dr. yesterday, he didn't mention anything about my weight-loss. My blood sugar had come down some, and when he commented on that, I said; "Of course, I've lost 33 pounds since last I saw you."  He basically gave me a pat on the back, and I said: "Is that all I get?  You've been hounding me to lose weight for years.  I was expecting, I don't know, confetti."  He didn't laugh.  I can never seem to make him laugh, which only makes me try harder.  So for what it's worth....
