Texas Last Diet: Day 90
I had my weigh-in a day early this week, because I have someplace to be all day tomorrow. I'm happy to report that I'm officially down 37 pounds. Yippee! That puts one of my big goals right within reach. So after the weigh-in, I worked with Linda on a new treatment Vikki has through Texas Last Diet, and that is something they call a lypo melt. They wrap you in these pads with red lights and zap you for 20 minutes or so. These laser lights are meant so somehow to break down the fat cells under the skin, and your body flushes them out through the liver. They have me on some supplements to help flush that organ, and of course, I'm drinking lots of water. I'm usually quite skeptical about these things, but I figured it was always worth a shot. So I had the treatment done, and I think it only registered like a 1/4 inch off my waist. That's not bad, since I had already lost another 1/4 inch at my weigh-in, but Linda was concerned because her other clients were losing much, much more. We talked about how I had been suffering from some constipation of late, and she was certain that my slight loss could be attributed to that "blockage" in my system. During the treatment, I had all sorts of gurgling going on in my tummy, so something seemed to be going on in there. Anyway, I was still happy, even though Linda hoped for more significant inches lost.
