Day 10: Texas Last Diet

I actually ate a brownie for breakfast.  That has to be wrong.  Vikki LeBeau, my coach, assured me that I could eat that instead of a breakfast pouch, but it just seems wrong somehow.  I guess I'm afraid that I'll develop taste for early morning brownies, and that might be a bit hard to shake when I'm out of stage one.  I'm actually not certain how long stage one of the diet lasts.  I have so much weight to loose that I don't want to get ahead of myself.  But there are four stages to the diet.  The first stage is where you start peeling off the weight, and stage four is where you're out there surviving on your own, making good and healthy eating choices.  I'll get there.  But for now, I'm going to have an occasional breakfast brownie... it was remarkable!

Lunch was a bit rushed again today.  I had a packet of soup and a salad, but I didn't have another serving of vegetables.  The soup is really good.

Well, I made a great dinner tonight.  I cut a chicken breast to get my 8oz of meat, and browned them in a teaspoon of oil.  Then I baked brussel sprouts, mushrooms and bell pepper together in the oven on a cookie sheet.  I sprayed them lightly with olive oil Pam, and let them bake until they were softened slightly.  Then I broiled them a bit to get a nice brown on them.  Salt, pepper, Italian herbs, onion and garlic powder and a bit of the amino acid to replace soy sauce to keep things from drying out too much.  It was really good.  I had the extra veggie because I missed it at lunch, and it was almost too much to eat.

We didn't get home until fairly late, so dinner was late too.  That worked like a charm, because when I had a craving later, I had my snack just now, right before I go to sleep.  That should work.

Great day, but I'm still feeling the lack of carbs.  Oh yes, and my breath is horrible.  It smells like something died in there.  Got to find a solution for that problem.
