Day 11: Texas Last Diet
I had scrambled eggs again this morning. They were good with a little onion and bell pepper in them. The veggies take away that "instant" taste.
We were on the road again today, and I had my trail mix in the car, and a salad in between meetings. I was really hungry by 3pm. It seems like I'm often getting hungry about that time. My breath is still horrible, so I got some of those Listerine strips. I hope they don't have sugar or anything, because I have to do something about the dragon breath. I think that's a good indication that I'm still in ketosis.
By dinner time, I was really, really hungry, and had to make up a veggie lost at lunch, so I made hamburger steaks, with pickles, slices of baked eggplant and mushrooms. I also put fresh parsley in the veggies to help with bad breath. Anyway, it was a huge amount of food, and really very tasty.
I was quite hungry when it was time for my snack, and hungry afterwards as well. I tried to eat some celery, and it got me through, but not at all what I was craving.
Overall, a pretty good day.
