Day 4: Texas Last Diet

I felt much better this morning, although I didn't sleep well at all.  I haven't had a headache all day, nor have I had any tummy troubles.  However I have still been wicked foggy, and really, really hungry.

Breakfast was quite good.  I made the cheese and veggie omelet, which was simple and quick.  We had a series of meetings today, so I my lunch ready to go, because I would have to have something that required no cooking, and that I could eat in the car between meetings.

Well, as you might suspect, I ended up leaving the Ideal Protein and salad fixings on the counter and drove away.  So, already on day 4, I'm having to try and find something to eat that won't mess up my diet, and still keep me from passing out from hunger.  Here's what I did...

I just had a cup of black coffee during my "lunch meeting".  When that was over, I ran to the store to buy some meat and vegetables.  It was late, and I didn't actually get to the office, and sit down to eat something until about 3pm.  I was so hungry I was shaking.  I had a salad with a little lime juice on top, with a packet of tuna on top.  The tuna seemed to be OK, as it was 110 calories, and didn't appear to have any starch or sugar added.  It was quite good, and stopped my cravings and shaking.    Now that I've done it, I will talk to them at my weigh-in to see if I messed anything up.

I ran into Vikki LeBeau today at a business networking event called Synergy Conroe, and she told me that what I was feeling was perfectly normal, and that the fact that my symptoms seemed better today meant that I was almost through the forest.  She told me I looked good, because some folks have a worse time of it over the first couple of days.  She told me I should have called her when I was having issues, but that's just not the way I'm wired.  She is sincere though, and would have been happy to have me call.  She brings a level of service and professionalism to this process that is hard to process.  She really does care about me, not just about my business.  That also goes for the rest of the staff at Texas Last Diet.  My first day I received a text from them welcoming me to the program, and asking if I had any questions or issues.

Regardless of what I eat, and when, I get some really strong cravings between 3pm and 5pm.  I'm wondering if I should move my evening snack to about 4pm, and swap out my evening snack with some free vegetables.

I bought meat and veggies for dinner, but that's OK, because I don't have any Ideal Protein packets to worry about with supper.  I will be home again after supper, so I'll be able to access my pills and packets for my evening snack.  I think I may have dodged the bullet this time.

I haven't had any trouble keeping up with my water intake.  Since I was coming off of probably 6 or 7 diet colas per day, I've supplemented some of my water with either Seltzer Water, or carbonated mineral water.  That way I can get my bubbles, and still not be drinking anything but water.
