Day 20: Texas Last Diet

I started the day with the cappuccino drink, not because I wanted the milk, but because I'm trying to use up food.  I hate to waste anything.  Like the chocolate drink, it was delicious... but I did feel the milk allergy slightly.  I'll swear off the milk products when I go in for my weigh-in.

We got stuck out on the road at lunchtime, and went to Sweet Tomatoes and had a good salad, complete with good veggies.  When I got to the office later in the afternoon, I had an Ideal Protein soup to round off my calories for the day.

Dinner was diced chicken tossed with mushrooms and broccoli.  Really good, but starting to feel a bit repetitive.  Next week I'll start going through that recipe book I got from Vikki...  Janeva's Ideal Recipes for those of us on Phase 1 of the Ideal Protein Diet.  They look like great recipes, and I'm starting to get tired of the same old dishes I've been making for a couple of weeks.

I also want to take a minute to plug another product available from Vikki LeBeau, and The Texas Last Diet.  These flavored candy "ice chips" are wonderful.  They're flavored with xylitol, and there's no sugar, corn, soy, wheat, gluten or dairy... and their vegan.  Not only are they sweet and guilt-free, they're great for helping with that horrible ketosis diet breath. They're a delightful treat, and function like a breath mint.  Vikki has them for sale right in the store, and there are loads of flavors available.
