Day 43: Texas Last Diet
What a day! Had a pancake for breakfast, and then went in for my weigh-in. I've just completed six weeks on the program and this is the first week I didn't lose any weight at all. So here's the weird part. I still lost in measurements on my butt, my belly, and chest, and actually lost a full 6 pounds of fat in one week. That's phenomenal, but there was no change on the scale today. Apparently I also gained 6 pounds of muscle this week. That's great, because I had cannibalized my muscle a week or so ago, and I've not regained that muscle mass I lost. So the results were super good, even though I have no movement in actual weight loss this week. I've still lost a total of 23 pounds so far, and quite a bit off my measurements overall.
I went to lunch with my parents, and had a Caesar salad with grilled chicken, and a bag of trail mix. I know that the salad wasn't really good enough for veggies at lunch, so I put a whole lot of veggies along side a turkey marinara for dinner to make up for it. Southwest Curls and a Rice Crispy Square rounded off my Ideal Proteins for the day.
