Day 30: Texas Last Diet
Busy day today. We were out shooting real estate photos all day. I had a mango shake for breakfast, and ate some trail mix in the car around lunchtime.
We found a Sweet Tomatoes for lunch, and I had a big salad with all the good veggies included. That place is really great, and I just wish there were more of them around town. We often don't have much time to stop and eat when we're out in the field. I could bring veggies with me, but since I need to provide food for the both of us, it gets a little awkward to make a lunch that will be good for both of us. Sweet Tomatoes allows me to get something that works with the diet, while he can get other food that is more appropriate to someone who doesn't need to diet.
I tried another recipe from Janeva's Ideal Recipes book for dinner. I made rice out of cauliflower, and I did the whole head of cauliflower. Man it was a lot of rice. I fried that up and threw in some diced pork, an egg, and bell pepper. It was really good. I had so much rice that I only used half.
I had my Southwest Curls for snack, and then had that chocolate mug cake as well. That made 4 Ideal Protein packets, but I didn't have an extra protein at lunch... of course I did have pork and an egg with dinner, so I probably did go over my limit today. I feel great though, so I'm hoping that I didn't mess anything up.
