Day 21: Texas Last Diet

Big day!  I went for weigh in, and have lost another 4 pounds this week, plus inches off my waist and chest.  That brings me to 16 lbs. lost in three weeks.  Everything seems to be working well, though I've apparently shown some muscle mass lost this week.  If you remember, last week I actually gained a pound of muscle, which meant that all my weight loss was fat.  This week though, I lost some muscle too.  Vikki said that I actually need to eat more protein this next week, so I'll be adding an egg to my lunch every day.  Heck of a diet that tells you to eat more food!


From there, I went to do a new therapy that they're offering.  This is a foot detox, where you place your feet in an ionized bath, and toxins and parasites are pulled out of your body through the pores in your feet.  I sat for 45 minutes with my feet in a warm bucket of salty water, and this is what happened.  Gross!

Dinner was rushed because we had an event to attend, but I made ground turkey patties, and tossed some zucchini and broccoli. and got all the food I needed.

The even was a catered dinner we hosted at the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce with Carlos Sanchez.  Everyone was so wild about the food I provided, that I did sneak about a teaspoon of each of the meat fillings for the taco bar.  They tasted amazing!  I sat and watched people eating chips, tortillas, rice and beans, and tacos all evening without a twinge of regret.

So I capped off the evening with the cheese crackers and am calling it a night.
