Day 34: Texas Last Diet

Let's see, I had a mango shake for breakfast as I ran out the door.  Lunch was very nice.  I made a spinach salad with zucchini in it, with some browned turkey on top for my extra protein.

Tonight we had the naked burrito recipe from Janeva's Ideal Recipes book.  It was really good.  I think I left it in the oven a little too long, because the eggs were a little off... but it was still really good.  I used chicken instead of beef, and I think I'll use beef next time.  I didn't have any asparagus left, so I couldn't do the fake guacamole, and I didn't use the pico de gallo on top.  That would have helped a lot.  Certainly a nice dish, and I'll make it again.  I miss Mexican food so much!

I'm going to weigh-in tomorrow, and I guess I've lost something this week.  I've added a fourth Ideal Protein on several days this week, plus the extra protein Vikki asked me to eat last time.  I'm just afraid that I've added too much food, and that I'm off ketosis.  I know my breath hasn't been as bad this week.  I'm happy to go back to eating less, but I have felt sooooo good this week, I'm kinda hoping that we got the mix right now, and I can keep eating this amount.  So even if I that I've gone too far with portions, I know it's fixable. But I still feel like I've lost something this week.  Fingers crossed. I know my pants are really getting baggy, and my belt has lots of extra length of late.
